Top Gainers
The biggest gainers on the Nifty were Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, which gained 4.42% to trade at 132.40 at the close. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd gained 1.94% end at 4,419.65 and Cipla Ltd. gained 1.42% to 1,130.75.
Top Losers
Biggest losers included Eicher Motors Ltd., which lost 5.67% trade at 3,463.35 in late trade. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, declined 4.42% to end at 784.40 and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. looses 3.18% to 8,547.00.
Options Trade
The India VIX, which measures the implied volatility of Nifty 50 options, was up 7.00% to 21.36.
